Ho Ho Ho!
Guess who’s coming to town this Christmas (Actually December 19th at 10pm, doors opening at 9)? Thats right, a new show from Robot Johnson. What has it got going for it?
- It’s new. There’s tons of new stuff in this show. Which is a pain for us because we have to try again. We hate trying. We only do it because it makes you people happy. Yes… you people.
- It’ s supersized. We’ve got 15 sketches including a few heavyweights
- New Songs
- There will be wigs. Or at least one wig. Probably.
- Special surprises
- No one famous will be there. This is not an ironic statement.
- It’s at CAST, which is just a very nice theater to perform in. It’s big enough that we can perform in it easily and happily with plenty of space for us to move around and get ready. Also, it’s small enough that if you’re single you can meet someone - Probably someone attractive – and buy them a drink.
- God bless America.

Also, I’m apparently the voice of a few of the social media sites and websites that Robot Johnson uses to annoy you stay in touch with its fans. But I’m a bit baffled by Twitter. I’m at once annoyed about its short length, attention span and the inane, micro-detailed comments people make (“Pizza and games with the family (@ Chuck E. Cheese)” , ”Out getting tea”) and fascinated by the ability to converse with other folks that I would not normally come across in my day to day conversations (Why am I talking directly to Charlotte Skirt! magazine about naughty and nice lists?). It’s odd.
Anyways. Come out to the show this Saturday at 10pm (doors open at 9pm). Give us your money and love and we will seriously give you one of the best times ever.
